Forest School Deputy Manager (maternity cover)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic childcare professional to join us at our OFSTED Outstanding Forest School as a Deputy Manager.

This is a 12 month maternity cover position with the potential to develop further. Forest school training is provided with the position on-site up to Level 4 trainer qualification.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step up and take on a new and exciting challenge with a not for profit, innovative health and wellbeing organisation.

Our dedicated forest school is set 10 minutes outside of Manchester city centre near Prestwich on the edge of a tranquil 32 acre woodland space which we have full use of. We have a fantastic enclosed half acre of forest school space where the children can develop their outdoor learning in a safe environment. We have a dedicated indoor classroom space, kitchen and welfare facilities on site in addition to the outdoor facilities.

We are passionate about the benefits of outdoor learning and are pioneering research into the advantages of this style of learning which you could be involved in.

Forest School Leader Opportunities

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working outdoors and holds a L3 childcare qualification and a L3 Forest School Leader qualification to join our OFSTED rated Outstanding forest school setting in Prestwich.

This opportunity is to work with our full time forest school pre-school and our holiday clubs.

We are a not for profit social enterprise dedicated to investing into the communities we work within. As part of our growing team you will have a say in the development of the organisation and the impact that we have.

We also have a full forest school training academy on site, so there may be opportunities to become Level 4 qualified if this is of interest.
