Nursery Manager – Kids adVentures Radcliffe

£23-28,000 plus training and benefits, Radcliffe M27

We are a small and family orientated nursery with an outdoor ethos. Based in Radcliffe near to the Metrolink, we are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead and inspire our team in aspiring for high quality, affordable childcare.

At Kids adVentures we put the children at the centre of everything we do, planning learning around their interests. We help children to grow and develop every day and enjoy working with our families to achieve this.

We believe wholeheartedly in the benefits of outdoor learning and have trained staff in each of our settings in Forest School Leadership. We are looking for someone who has a passion for learning to develop the nursery further, offer new opportunities to our children and to grow the business by attracting in new families to the setting.

Requirements

  • Level 3 NNEB (or equivalent) or Degree in Early Years
  • 1+ years experience running a private nursery
  • An in-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Proven knowledge of safeguarding, diversity, equality, health and safety
  • Experience in staff and budget management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A passion for childcare
  • An interest in outdoor learning

Responsibilities

  • Delivering the best childcare available in the area
  • Leading and inspiring your nursery team towards providing an outstanding nursery setting
  • Developing the staff team providing hands on and formal training opportunities
  • Recruitment and retention of staff
  • Managing parent communication to improve engagement and ensure fees are paid on time
  • Maintaining consistency across the rooms ensuring quality of learning is high and tailored to the children’s needs
  • Assist with marketing, input to new ideas and initiatives to best showcase your nursery
  • Track and prepare for OFSTED inspections
  • Ensure EYFS is promoted and adhered to at every level of the nursery.

Deputy Manager- Kids adVentures Salford 

£18-22,000 plus training and benefits, Salford M3

We are a small and family orientated nursery with an outdoor ethos. Based in Salford near to Manchester City Centre, we are looking for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the Manager and the nursery team in delivering a high quality childcare experience for local families.

  • Working alongside your nursery team and developing the rooms and setting towards outstanding
  • Working with the staff team on continuous development sharing your experience and expertise.
  • Ensuring parent information and communication is kept up to date
  • Being the SEN lead or becoming qualified to do so (training provided)
  • Ensuring child development is monitored in comprehensive observation reports
  • Ensure EYFS is promoted and adhered to at every level of the nursery
  • Assisting with marketing by actively identifying opportunities to showcase what we do
