Kids adVentures Forest School is here

We are very excited to be starting Forest School at Garden Needs / Kersal Dale – Garden Needs is the ideal base for us to go out and explore, have fun and learn in the beautiful Kersal Dale which is less than a mile from our Prestwich nursery.
Our Forestry School will run as an additional activity for our nursery children during term times. We are also opening our Forestry School as a holiday club during school holidays.
We will also be looking to work with other groups as we are excited about giving as many children (and adults) access to this fantastic facility.
Forest School is an inspirational concept providing learning opportunities through practical activities in an outdoor environment. Children enjoy the freedom to explore and experience the natural world in all seasons and in all weathers. Forest School embraces an approach of nurturing, supporting and developing the self-esteem of participants. It is an ideal environment in which to develop innovation, problem solving, risk taking, creativity and teamwork.

Free Childcare!

Kids adVentures currently has some government funded free childcare places available. All 3 and 4 year olds and some 2 year olds are entitled to some free childcare every week and we have places at Kids adVentures Prestwich and Radcliffe.

This means every child can access some early educational, interactive and fun activities before starting school. There have been many studies that show the benefits of early education and at Kids adVentures we have an emphasis on learning through play.
